Upper Michigan

The Upper Peninsula of Michigan (known as the “UP”) is a wonderful place for a photographer! The fall of the year is brilliant color and when mingled with the edges of Lake Superior, it can be a wonderland to enjoy.

As you’ll notice, all these images are in black & white. It’s just another way of interpreting the kaleidoscope of tones you’ll find. As a side note, you may appreciate a comment my wife made after my return and a few images from the “UP” were beginning to surface. She asked, “Didn’t you go up there for ‘fall color’?” To this I admitted most certainly. “Then,” she said, “why are all the images in B&W?” Well, that’s just a photographer thing I guess. Anyway, I trust you’ll enjoy some views of some of God’s Creation, even in B&W. His handiwork is glorious to behold!
